About Middle East Studies with Arabic, BSc - at University of Exeter

No language study required; 3 year programme.
The expertise of the Institute’s staff in the social sciences and modern history provides a balanced multidisciplinary study of the area. Compulsory modules include Islam as a religion and way of life, history and society of the Middle East, and contemporary Middle Eastern politics and economy. You will receive some intensive training in the Arabic language, to help you gain a better understanding of the region’s societies and cultures. You can expect to gain a thorough knowledge of the dynamics of the contemporary Middle East, and to be able to use Arabic effectively
