About Middle Eastern History , MPhil - at University of Exeter

The Department of History at Exeter comprises a lively, positive and dynamic group of historians, who are committed to world-class research, and to the highest possible standards of undergraduate teaching and postgraduate training and research supervision.

Exeter’s historians produce work of international importance, a fact reflected in the award of a 5A rating to History in the most recent Research Assessment Exercise (RAE) in 2001. With two Fellows of the British Academy among its 39 historians, it is firmly committed to research and publication of the highest quality.

Exeter History remains extremely popular with undergraduate applicants, thanks to an exciting curriculum delivered by top-class lecturers and tutors. Our range of degree programmes offers a very wide range of choice. We also offer excellent opportunities for taught postgraduate students and are always keen to supervise research postgraduates.
