About Money and Banking, MSc - at University of Exeter Business School

The MSc in Money and Banking is a programme that is offered jointly by the Department of Economics and the new Xfi Centre for Finance and Investment. For some of the advantages of choosing Exeter for economics, see Economics at Exeter.

This programme is for those wishing to pursue a career in finance and economics in the international banking sector. Drawing upon the School's long-standing reputation for delivering top quality graduates in finance and economics, the programme provides a focus on the application of advanced economics and finance theory to commercial money markets.

In the first semester you take core modules in Macroeconomics or Microeconomics, Principles of Finance, and Quantitative Methods for Finance. In the second semester, the modules available include International Macroeconomics and Finance, Banking and Financial Services, and Domestic and International Portfolio Management.
