MSc Biotechnology - Nottingham Trent University

Graduate profile
Amrita Shenoy

"By the time I had completed my undergraduate studies, I was on the lookout for a masters programme. I came across many areas that kindled my enthusiasm. I wanted to know more about cloning, making transgenic animals and gene therapy. The biotechnology course offered at the School of Science and Technology at Nottingham Trent University perfectly consisted of what I wanted to learn about the subject.

"The modules that the programme offered were immensely informative and provided an insight about biotechnological potentials. It allowed us as students to understand the aspects of biotechnology that conventional research had overlooked. At the University, you are exposed to the latest in biotechnology, work in sophisticated laboratories under the guidance of eminent professors and doctors, and have the international standards of teaching and research.

"Studying at NTU has opened new doors and opportunities to me while the friendly professor-student relations have an invigorating impact that encourages us to perform better in our academic study. I would be extremely happy to gain the opportunity to study a PhD programme that would help me research stem cells and then later become a lecturer in my field in a university as reputed as ours."
