Brackenhurst campus is set in rural Nottinghamshire and offers students a unique learning experience. The campus is located near Southwell, a market town, fourteen miles from Nottingham with regular public transport links into the city centre. It covers over 200 hectares of grounds, organised around a country house.
The combination of an idyllic rural setting, a range of specialist courses and a friendly and caring team of staff results in an atmosphere which generations of students have come to appreciate. In recent years the population has more than doubled and now there are around 1000 full and part-time students on campus over the year.
The campus includes beautiful landscaped gardens and a licensed bar, where students are able to meet and socialise during the evenings.
The School of Animal, Rural and Environmental Sciences student population has doubled in size over recent years, and we now have over 1,000 students based on the campus full and part-time.
We have a strong emphasis on vocational application, and maintain excellent links within industry at home and internationally. We can teach you the practical skills and deliver the academic strength necessary for you to realise your goals.
The Guardian University Guide 2010 cites NTU as being one of the top five UK universities for the career prospects of agriculture, forestry and food students.
