International Character and Location Kent Law School has the second most international students of any law school in the UK (The Times Good University Guide 2007). Part of the University of Kent, Kent Law School offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses at Kent's 300 acre Canterbury campus overlooking the famous Cathedral city, and postgraduate courses only at it's smaller campus in the heart of Europe in Brussels.
Based down in the far south-east of England, the Canterbury campus is a short distance from both London (1 ½ hours by train) and Continental Europe (Paris 2 hours, Brussels 1 ½ hours by Eurostar from nearby Ashford station).

Kent Law Clinic Kent Law School has its own on-site Law Clinic which enables students to get actively involved in real legal cases bought to the Clinic by members of the general public. Students have full conduct of cases and work under the close supervision of the fully qualified legal staff in the Clinic. The Clinic works on a pro-bono basis for clients and has received numerous awards and accolades for its contribution to legal justice over the many years it has been running.
Facilities and environment In addition to a large, well stocked paper library, Kent Law School has an impressive electronic law library and makes good use of technology to complement traditional teaching and learning. Of note are the award-winning electronic database LawLinks, and the ability to download and listen again to undergraduate lectures. Postgraduate students have their own common room areas (equipped with wireless internet access) and from dedicated support from application to graduation from the Postgraduate Office.
The Law School also has an active social life with four undergraduate student societies, good links with many prominent UK firms, a postgraduate academic and social group, and extra-curricular weekly postgraduate student-staff seminars.
