The School of Science & Technology, Nottingham Trent University
NTU has a reputation for the quality of its Science education. In
external reviews of our teaching standards by the UK Quality Assurance
Agency, NTU was awarded the highest grade for Chemistry
('excellent'), Biosciences (24/24) and Physics (24/24) - an
achievement unbeaten nationally. The School has wide-ranging research

The Adsetts Learning Centre brings together traditional library services and high-tech computing and multimedia facilities. Over £17 million has recently been invested in new buildings, and 2,300 study spaces - more than 750 equipped with PCs. There are also substantial computing facilities on each campus. Over 2,500 PCs running Windows are available, all connected to the campus-wide network and provide easy access to over 250 software packages including Microsoft Office, e-mail and a web browser. All students have access to the global facilities of the internet, including e-mail and the World Wide Web, via our powerful links. Our networks also support accessing the internet for off-campus users together with access to University library catalogues and national and international databases.
